Marie is a director based in Berlin. Her goal in filmmaking is to understand not only how films are made, but also the influence of media on society and the individual. In order to get to know these structures, she started her career in marketing and communications. The focus on social responsibility in the corporate world motivated her to enter the world of commercial film making, next to her work as a documentary-filmmaker
