Jonathan, affectionately known as JB amongst colleagues, is McCann London’s Planning Partner and strategic mastermind behind Aldi, Nurofen, Dettol and Premier Foods. His work for Aldi has resulted in 4 years of consecutive 5* Christmas ads for Kevin the Carrot and a number of Gold Sustained Success effectiveness awards at the IPAs and Effies.JB is a charismatic strategic lead and a diligent champion of those he manages. He leads by example and models the values we expect at McCann: Courage, Ambition, and Kindness, all delivered with empathy and humility. Alongside his client responsibilities, JB masterminds our creative accelerator, Atomic Soup (previously referred to as King Kong). Fuelled by diversity of experience and cultural truths from a group who can bring their whole selves to the table, it’s a time-limited accelerated swarm designed to generate ideas that catch fire in culture and payback in the boardroom which has led to an array of successful campaign launches such as Toxic Toby, Lofi Beats, Depzman "Life Cut Short" and Gaydr.Previously, JB spent five years at Publics working on global spirits before moving to CP+B to work on Burger King across the UK and Spain from their Gothenburg office. He then moved back to London with Crispin and spent a further six years working across Milka, American Airlines, Hotels.com, Cubanista, Infiniti Motors and Captain Morgan Rum. Having now been at McCann for almost five years, JB is a highly valued member of the team.
