SheSays, the non-profit advocating for gender equality in the creative industries, has partnered with the JCDecaux Community Channel to launch ‘Rework the Future’. Launching on 12 August, this month-long OOH and social campaign is asking people to help transform the future of work with creative visuals that read:
- ‘Flexible work will be _____________ for women.’
- ‘If we ______________ we can smash the glass ceiling.’
- ‘The best bosses will be the ones that ________.’
This campaign comes at a time when businesses are increasingly pushing employees to return to the office. With its tagline, ‘The Future is what we make it’, the campaign encourages everyone to participate and share their input. Participants can have their say on reworkthefuture.com, where they can answer questions about the changes needed to create a more inclusive future of work.
SheSays will then use the responses to develop a manifesto for change, which it aims to present to businesses at the end of September. In a press release, the UK President of She Says, Amy Dick, commented on the campaign:
Our campaign is urging people to have their say to build a better future of work. We want people to feel empowered and see that the future is yet to be decided. There is a massive opportunity to shape it in a way that better reflects our needs.
Chris Dooley, Head of Social Impact at JCDecaux UK, also shared: ‘I am proud that we are bringing SheSays’ important message to a national audience across our digital Out-of-Home screens. The JCDecaux Community Channel creates real value through the power of the public screen and aims to amplify Out-of-Home’s role as a force for good in the community.’
The OOH campaign can be seen on 250 poster sites across the nation.
