The creative transformation company WPP has announced that it is accepting applications for its 2025 Creative Tech Apprenticeship programme. Beginning in October, the nine-month paid programme will equip 16 individuals with technological skills for the advertising, marketing, and production industries.
The successful applicants will have the chance to work on real-world projects alongside world-renowned brands and receive exclusive training from globally recognised tech companies. In addition to offering classes on creative coding, generative AI, game engines, virtual production and advanced machinery, the programme will delve into technology’s impact on brands and society.
Stephan Pretorius, Chief Technology Officer of WPP, commented: ‘New technologies such as generative AI have rewritten the rules of marketing. At WPP, we’re not just adapting, we’re building the next generation of creative technologists. Our apprenticeship programme empowers diverse talent with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in this exciting new era of creativity.’
Classes will be led by Perry Nightingale and Kat Sullivan at WPP’s Hogarth in London’s Clerkenwell. The deadline for applications is 23 August 2024.
