impact.com unveils customisable customer referral solution

On 30 July, the partnership management platform impact.com announced the launch of impact.com/advocate, a fully customisable customer referral solution. This builds on the platform’s 2023 acquisition of the customer referral software, SaaSquatch.

The new solution will enable brands to build programmes that fit their strategies and goals, offer rewards and incentivise participation by gamifying programmes, create on-brand referral experiences, and optimise with impact.com’s tracking and analytics capabilities. In other words, it aims to help brands transform ‘loyal customers into motivated advocates’.

impact.com launched this solution following research into the state of customer trust in advertising. According to their findings, reliance on trusted personal recommendations is higher than ever, with 86% saying that recommendations and reviews impact their buying choices. Meanwhile, only 2% of consumers consider traditional ads to be influential.

In addition, impact.com further found that 1 in 5 shoppers feel uncomfortable recommending products only to receive a reward and that 65% prefer when both they and the person they are referring receive a reward.
