The cider company Kopparberg have partnered with Melanoma Fund on their latest campaign, ‘Drink Responsibly This Summer’. The idea behind this campaign is to encourage people to enjoy the sunny summer days while taking precautions against harmful UV rays.
The campaign features a 40-second video, directed by BAFTA-winning director, Molly Manners at Biscuit Filmworks. The advertisement depicts a group of friends adopting ‘sun-safe habits’ while drinking Kopparberg.
As part of this campaign, several pubs and bars across the UK will offer Kopparberg SPF 50 sunscreen sachets. These include IF Up North (Leeds), Vodka Wodka (Glasgow) and Jessica O’Marley’s (Dundee). In addition to this, select beer gardens will also install sunscreen dispensers.
Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing at Kopparberg, said:
At Kopparberg, we want people to embrace and enjoy the summer responsibly. With longer, sunnier days approaching, it’s important to raise awareness about sun protection. By partnering with the Melanoma Fund we’re helping our consumers understand smart sun safety habits so they can confidently revel in the warm weather without compromising their health.
Melanoma Fund have created a dedicated page for the campaign, with tips and advice for being safe in the sun.
