On 15 August Eurobest announced that entries are open for the 37th Eurobest Awards and introduced the Creative B2B Eurobest Award, which is new for 2024. This Award will celebrate creativity and effectiveness for products, propositions, services, solutions, or experiences. The primary buyers of these must either be business decision-makers or a group making purchases on behalf of other businesses. Submissions for the Creative B2B Eurobest Award must demonstrate short-term tactics and long-term brand-building strategies.
The creation of this Award comes after the success of Cannes Lions’ introduction of the Humour category this year. Now, entrants in the Eurobest Awards will also be able to enter comedic work as part of the cultural and context sections. Marian Brannelly, Global Director of Awards at LIONS, commented on this in a press release:
‘It’s an exciting time for creativity in Europe, which is reflected across the evolution of our Awards, including the brand new Creative B2B Award. Following on from Europe’s success at Cannes Lions this year in B2B, this is an apt time to introduce this Award and shine a spotlight on creative work in this space. We’re looking forward to celebrating the region’s best creative work that will not only set the industry standard, but propel it forward.’
For the 37th awards, Eurobest have also expanded the offering of their Innovation Eurobest Award, refreshed the PR Eurobest Award to more accurately reflect the current industry and the Social & Influencer Award to celebrate the role of creators. What is more, they have evolved their entry process, focusing on Sustainability, DEI, and Cultural Context.
Entries for the Eurobest Awards are open until 17 October and registration for the Eurobest Young Creatives competition will open on 9 September.
