Effie UK has revealed the 52 finalists that have made it to the final stage of the 2024 Awards Programme. According to a press release, this is the programme’s ‘strongest year’, having received the highest number of entries to date.
The categories with the most shortlisted entries were Sustained Success and Positive Change, which celebrate long-term strategies and useful contributions to society. Boots and ITV were among the most shortlisted brands this year, both receiving three nominations each.
More specifically, Boots’ ‘Menopause: Real Change Comes From Within’ campaign by VML was shortlisted in two categories and ITV’s ‘ITVX. How a new platform gave a traditional broadcaster a new lease of life’ by Uncommon Creative Studio also earned two nominations.
Effie also revealed that VML was the most shortlisted agency, making it to the final round of judging for 8 awards. McCann, Uncommon, and Mother are also among the finalists, each running for 6 awards.
Rachel Emms, Managing Director of Effie UK, commented: ‘With more entries this year than ever, and a particularly high standard of submissions, the judges didn’t have an easy time deciding the shortlist. So we extend our thanks to the whole panel for their hard work, and offer our congratulations to every finalist for getting this far — it’s a real achievement.’
The winners of the 2024 Effie Awards will be revealed on 19 November.
